Trisha A. Gianatasio, a longtime resident of Everett, passed away at home on Tuesday, July 30, 2024, at age 55.

Trisha was born in Waterbury, CT on April 9, 1969, and raised in Everett. She graduated from Pope John High School in Everett in 1987 and from Babson College, Cum Laude in 1991 with a double major.

In her younger years, she was an accomplished pianist who taught herself by ear, and loved writing poetry. She and her son found joy in playing music together with Trisha on the piano and son Zachary on the clarinet. She also had a soft spot for animals, and loved flowers and gardening.

Trisha lived an independent life, always seeking the next adventure. She was strong-willed and fiercely passionate about living life on her terms.

Trisha was the cherished daughter of Claire A. Richard of Melrose and Philip Gianatasio of Marblehead, and stepdaughter of the late David Richard of Melrose. Loving mother of Zachary Showstead of NH and Kayla "Ace" Showstead of Malden. Sister of Lisa Gianatasio and her husband Anthony Corrado of Melrose, and aunt of Alec and Claudia Brophy of Melrose.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to gather during visiting hours at the Robinson Funeral Home, 809 Main St., Melrose on Saturday, August 3 from 9-10am, followed by a Graveside Service at Woodlawn Cemetery, 302 Elm St., Everett at 10:30am.
