Robert A. Cushman

Mr. Robert A. Cushman of Melrose died Sunday August 17, 2003 at the Melrose Care Center after a lengthy illness. Mr Cushman was born in Melrose, son of the late Loring and Marguerite (Libby) Cushman. He was a life long resident of Melrose and graduated from Melrose High School and New Hampton Academy. Mr. Cushman was a a Manager at the Colonial Country Club in Lynnfield for 30 years until his retirement. He was a WW II Army veteran and held the rank of Sergeant. He was an avid fisherman and an avid New England sports fan. He especially enjoyed the Red Sox. Robert was the husband of the late Marjorie (Horne) Cushman.Father of Judith A. Cushman Singh and her husband Jarnail of Waltham, Robert L. Cushman of Albion, ME and Thomas P. Cushman and his wife Judith of Mexico, NY.Brother of Loring T. Cushman and his wife Marjorie of Melrose and the late ThomasP. Cushman.He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.Funeral service at the Robinson Funeral Home, 809 Main St., MELROSE, Thursday, August 21 at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
Visiting hours Wednesday 5-8 PM.

Interment will be in Wyoming Cemetery. Melrose.
