Mr. Richard M. Sullivan, 61 of Salem, formerly of Melrose died at home suddenly Friday June 11, 2004. Richard was born August 6, 1942 in Lawrence, Massachusetts. He was the son of Rachel Mary Sullivan of Aiken, SC and the late Richard J. Sullivan. Richard was a resident of Melrose for several years until moving to Salem 2 years ago. He graduated from Reading High School and the University of Rochester. Richard was the husband of Marcia (Connelly) Sullivan. Father of Richard Michael Sullivan, Jr. and his wife Marie D. of Brooklyn, NY. He was the grandfather of Emma R. Sullivan.
Funeral from the Robinson Funeral Home, 809 Main St. Melrose Tuesday, June 15, 2004 at 9 AM. Funeral Mass at the Church of the Incarnation, 425 Upham St. Melrose at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
Visiting hours Monday 4-8 PM.
Interment will be in Wyoming Cemetery, Melrose, MA. Gifts in his memory may be made to the American Diabetes Association. 1 Bromfield St. Boston, MA 02108.
