Mr. Pingree was born on June 3, 1911 in Fulton, NY, one of two sons to the late Benjamin H. Pingree and Beulah (Keator) Pingree.
Ralph was raised in Saugus and graduated from Harvard University in 1933.He received a Masters in Education from Boston University and attended Harvard Business School.Ralph was an insurance executive for many years.
Ralph was the beloved husband of the late Adeline H. (Templeman) Pingree with whom he shared 71 years of marriage.Loving father of David H. Pingree and his wife Susan S. of Philadelphia, PA and Phillip B. Pingree of Atlanta, GA.Dear brother of Edwin Pingree of Scarborough, ME and the late Frances Templeman. Cherished grandfather of Benjamin H. Pingree and his wife Alexandra of Crawfordville, FL, Kristin Pingree and Karin Sweinhart and her husband Michael, all of Tallahassee, FL.Loving great grandfather of Katie Sweinhart, Elle Wood, Philip Pingree, and Harris Pingree.
Funeral Service at the Robinson Funeral Home, 809 Main St., MELROSE, Monday, June 15 at 10AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
