Quang Trinh, a longtime resident of Malden, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 19, 2026 in Worcester, at age 101.
Quang was born in Vietnam, on February 2, 1924, son of the late Thanh Trinh and Chau Thi Tran. In 1985, he immigrated to the United States and settled in Malden with his beloved wife, Hue. A devoted husband and father, Quang centered his life around his family, finding joy in caring for his children and helping his wife with the daily routine at home. He also took pride in his work as a studio photographer, where his artistic eye was reflected in every image he created.
Quang was predeceased by his son, Du Trinh.
He is survived by his loving wife, Hue; devoted sons, Kenny Trinh and his wife Phung Luc, Benny Trinh and his wife My Hien Trinh, Danny Trinh, Jimmy Trinh, Larry Trinh and his wife Nga Hoa, Hung Trinh and his wife NhaQuyen Trinh; daughter-in-law, Sang Trinh; and many cherished grandchildren.
Family and friends are invited to gather for Visiting Hours at the Robinson Funeral Home, 809 Main St., Melrose on Saturday, January 24 from 9:30AM to 10:45AM. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Quang may be made to Van Hanh Monastery, 370 Essex St., Saugus MA 01906.
