Patricia A. "Pat" (Gordinier) Smith, a longtime resident of Woburn, passed away on Tuesday, October 19, 2010 at Boston Medical Center after a brief illness.She was 71 years old.

Pat was born on February 22, 1939 in East Boston, a daughter of the late Hazel E. (Corbett) and Emerson E. Gordinier.

She was raised in Malden and graduated from Malden High School.Pat had worked for many years for Digital Equipment Corporation as a project manager and for Millipore as an executive assistant.One of three daughters, she loved the time she spent with her dearly beloved sisters, Dorothy and Ruth.She also enjoyed going to the North Shore Music Theater, travelling to Norway for boat cruises, and playing her favorite card game "Wist" with her girlfriends.

Pat was the devoted mother of Brian S. Smith and his wife Brenda of Fremont, NH and David L. Smith and his wife Michelle of Haverhill.Dear sister of Dorothy M. Gordinier of Malden and Ruth E. Garbarino of Reading.Cherished grandmother of Kyle, Kevin, Jason, Cory and Ryan Smith.

Funeral Service to honor and remember Pat's life at Robinson Funeral Home, 809 Main St., Melrose on Monday, October 25 at 10 AM.Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.Visiting hours on Sunday from 2-6 PM.Interment in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
