Patricia H. (Morrell) Coscia, 70, of Melrose, passed away peacefully on Thursday October 1, 2026, at her home surrounded by family and friends.
Born on May 19, 1956, in Chelsea to the late Constance (King) Frazer and the late Stanley Morrell. Patricia grew up in Malden, where she graduated from Malden High School. During her high school years, she participated in the Choral Arts program, a testament to her passion for music and the arts.
Patricia embarked on her career that spanned nearly five decades, beginning with her work at Commercial Union, followed by New England Life, and concluding her professional journey at Alan Gray. Through her 49 years of dedicated service, she was not only a valued employee but also a mentor to many of her coworkers, offering guidance and support.
On October 1, 1978, Patricia married her beloved husband, Anthony F. "Tony" Coscia, Jr., at Everett United Methodist Church. Together, they built a life filled with love and laughter, moving from Malden to Billerica, and ultimately settling in Melrose. Patricia was known for her generous spirit, finding joy in family gatherings, playing cards, Saturday night dinners with her dear friends Fran and Butch, and the occasional trip to Foxwoods.
Family was the cornerstone of Patricia's existence. She particularly cherished spending Thanksgiving in Florida with her loved ones, creating lasting memories that will be forever treasured. A lover of the arts and culture, she enjoyed collecting coins, attending the theater, traveling, indulging in good food, and embracing the joy of baking.
Patricia was the beloved wife of 48 years to Anthony F. "Tony" Coscia, Jr. Loving sister to Cheryl F. King and husband William of Salem, NH, Cindy R. Hickey and husband James of Haverhill, Donna S. O'Keefe and husband Michael of RI, and Robin B. Morrell of Wakefield. Proud auntie to Ashley, Holly, Danny, Lacey, Courtney, Stacey, Patrick, and great-aunt to Anika, Clara, Lucas, and Margaret.
Visiting Hours at Robinson Funeral Home, 809 Main St., Melrose on Tuesday, Oct. 6 from 4-7pm and on Wednesday, Oct. 7 for her Funeral Service at 10am. Interment at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
