Orvell Ray Jackson
O. Ray Jackson was born on June 12, 1929 in Uintah County, Utah, one of five children of the late Orvell Q. Jackson and Neva E. (Woodard) Jackson.
For many years, Mr. Jackson owned and operated several restaurants in the Boston area.He also was a self employed builder in Massachusetts and New Hampshire.During his leisure time, Ray enjoyed travelling to Italy.
He was the beloved husband of the late Maria A. (Rossino) Jackson and Margaret Jackson.Loving father of David L. Jackson of Texas and Stephen L. Jackson of Washington.Dear brother of William "Roy" Jackson of Spanish Fork, Utah, JoAnn Jones of Napa, Idaho, Leon J. Jackson of Texas, and the late Devar Jackson.Brother-in-law of Tina Aliberti of Malden, Stella Aliberte of FL, Thomas Rossino of Melrose, Joseph A. Rossino of Saugus, and Americo Rossino of N. Reading. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 455 Washington Ave., Revere on Tuesday, October 26 at 11 AM.Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.Visiting hours at the Robinson Funeral Home, 809 Main St., Melrose on Monday from 5-8 PM.Interment in Wyoming Cemetery, Melrose.
