Muriel J. Casey, 80 of Melrose, a retired secretary for the Malden Trust Company died suddenly Saturday morning January 8, 2005 at Mass General Hospital in Boston. Muriel was born in Malden June 27, 1924 daughter of the late John H. Kenney and Barbara Kenney. Muriel was raised in Melrose, attended Melrose High School and graduated from Malden Business School.She was a very active member at Trinity Church, Melrose where she served on the Altar Guild for many years. Mrs. Casey was a Brownie Leader and was also involved for many years with the Melrose Band Aiders. Muriel was a life long resident of Melrose and was a secretary at the Malden Trust Company for 12 years. Murielwas the loving wife of 57 years of Robert J. Casey. Devoted mother of Kenneth R. Casey and his partner Dr. David K. Dailey of NYC, NY,Douglas J. Casey and his wife Lisa C. of Nashua, NH and Lynne B. Chow and her husband Timothy of Norwich, VT.Sister of Margaret Peters of Haverhill.Grandmother of Andrew D. Casey and Daniel T. Casey both of Nashua, NH and Christina C. Chow of Norwich, VT. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service at Trinity Church, 131 West Emerson St., Melrose Wednesday January 12 at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.Visiting hours at the Robinson Funeral Home, 809 Main St., MELROSE Tuesday 4-8 PM. Interment will be in Wyoming Cemetery, Melrose.
