Michelle M. (Trigilio) Camello, a longtime resident of Saugus, passed away peacefully at D'Youville Life & Wellness Center in Lowell on Friday, November 27, 2020, at age 91.

Michelle was born on August 23, 1929 in Lawrence, one of five children of the late Sebastiano and Concettina (Bongiorno) Trigilio. Raised and educated in Lawrence, she was married to Paul Camello on September 4, 1949 and they settled in Saugus a decade later. Michelle was a dedicated homemaker, providing loving support to her family.

A devout parishioner of Blessed Sacrament Church in Saugus, Michelle also served as a Eucharistic Minister. In her free time, she loved watching soap operas and Disney films, preparing Italian dishes with her famous homemade tomato sauce, and going to the theater. Above all, she was a family woman who cherished times spent with her children and grandchildren.

Michelle was the beloved wife of the late Paul J. Camello, with whom she shared 62 years of marriage. Devoted mother of Paula L. Prendergast and her husband Brian of Saugus, and the late Joseph P. Camello and Stephen S. Camello. Loving grandmother of Tiana, Tyler, and Christian Prendergast. Sister of Antoinette Salerno of Haverhill and the late Nellie Montefusco, Anne Tineo, and Lucille Scalora.Predeceased by special cousin Pauline Giannelli. Dear friend and longtime next-door neighbor to Helen Reidy. Loving cousin to Doris "Sweetheart" DiPietro.
