Marie C. Borgal Barrasso
of Saugus, formerly of Melrose and Wakefield, died at her home on Friday morning October 29, 2004. Marie was born in East Boston, May 22, 1910, daughter of the late Wilfred B. Bissett and Ellen (Tryder) Bissett.
Marie grew up in Melrose, attended Melrose Public Schools and she was a former long time resident of Wakefield.Marie was a tester for many years at the Transitron Company in Wakefield. Marie was the wife of the late Pasquale Barrasso and the late George C. Borgal. Marie was the mother of Janet M. Wharf and her companion Vinney Barbaro of Saugus, Thomas W. Borgal and his wife, Valerie of Tewksbury, Donald C. Borgal and his wife, Mary of Kingwood, TX and the late Nancy A. Sawyer. Mother-in-law of Donald W. Sawyer of Berwick, ME.She was also survived by 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral from the Robinson Funeral Home, 809 Main St., MELROSE, Tuesday,November 2 at 8AM. Funeral Mass at St. Mary's Church, (corner of Myrtle and Herbert Street), Melrose at 9 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.Visiting hours Monday only 4-8 PM. Interment will be in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody, MA.
