Linda L. (Loring) Dias, of Peabody, formerly of Stoneham and Melrose, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 16, 2025, at Care One at Peabody. She was 86.

Linda was born on October 3, 1939, in Chelsea, one of two children of the late Eugene and Betty (Daymond) Loring. She grew up in both Chelsea and Melrose, where she graduated from Melrose High School, Class of 1957.

Linda's career as a bank teller was marked by her warmth and friendliness; she had a remarkable ability to connect with everyone she met. Her bright, bubbly personality brought joy to all, and she took pride in helping others. Linda was always ready to lend a hand or share a kind word, embodying the spirit of community each day.

Anyone who knew Linda recognized her zest for life. She enjoyed talking and laughing, often filling the room with her infectious energy. She loved sharing music with her friends and family. Her love for shopping outings and spending time with friends reflected her belief in the importance of connection. A devoted sports fan, she cheered for the Boston Red Sox and the Bruins. Linda also cherished her adventures, particularly her memorable cruises to Alaska and the Caribbean.

Linda was the devoted mother of Scott J. Dias and his wife Barbara of Cleveland, Tennessee, Pamela L. Harvey and her husband Scott of Chesterville,Maine, Lisa L. Trischitta and her husband Frank of North Reading, and John E. Dias and his wife Lisa of Danvers. Loving sister of the late John M. Loring. Proud grandmother of William Dias, John Dias and his wife, Christina, Katrina Dias Briley and her husband Tyler, Brian Dias and his wife Kathy, Nicholas Harvey, Tyler Harvey and his wife Emily, Leanne Trischitta, Jillian Trischitta, Sophia Trischitta, Frank Trischitta, Joseph Dias and his wife Amanda, Lucia Dias and the late Gianna Dias, and great grandmother of Jackson, Louis, Russell, and Willa. Former wife of the late William J. Dias. Also survived by her dear friend, Sara Perkins.

Linda's services are private. Interment in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
