Linda Connell

Linda D. Connell, age 65 and resident of Stoneham, passed away peacefully at Melrose-Wakefield Hospital on Thursday, June 19, 2025 after a courageous battle with cancer.

Linda was born on July 31, 1959 in Somerville, daughter of the late Francis Joseph Connell and Phyllis Louise (Isinger) Connell.

After graduating from Melrose High School, she attended Chamberlayne School of Design and Merchandising in Boston to obtain a degree in interior design. Linda had great style and an innate fashion sense which she utilized in her successful sales career of fine jewelry and furniture.

Linda was a voracious reader and often spent time at the Stoneham Library. She loved gardening and created a beautiful backyard where all creatures were welcomed. Linda was best known for her fierce love of animals and was an advocate for rescues.

Linda is survived by her brother John Michael Connell (MFB), his wife Marianne Connell and most loved nephew Joseph Connell, all of Stoneham, an amazing and supportive friend group including Laurie Leary, Debbie Grasso and Toni Zachko and her fur babies Vin, Diesel, Abe, Louie, Maggie, and her latest rescue Cooper Connell.

Linda lived life on her terms and requested no formal services.
