Lawrence Belzarine, a resident of Stoneham, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 5, 2020 at a the Arnold House Nursing Home in Stoneham, at age 96.

Born in Revere on January 21, 1924, Lawrence was one of two children of the late William A. and Rose A. (McBride) Belzarine.Raised in Malden, Larry graduated from Malden High School and Northeastern University with a Bachelor's Degree in Business. For many years, Larry worked as the Comptroller for Cherry Industries.

The proud son of a Boston Mounted Policeman from District 7, Larry learned the skill of training pigeons, and offered his trained Homing pigeons to the US military during WWII. At home in Malden, Larry enjoyed working in the yard, listening to classical music, or reading up on his favorite Buick cars. He also enjoyed a glass of red wine, traveling, and spending time at his summer home in Yarmouth in Cape Cod.

He will be deeply missed.

Larry was predeceased by his sister Rose Belzarine. He is survived by his cousins, Peg Drummey of Stoneham, Diane Weild of Hudson, NH, and Jim Murphy of Bedford, NH, and numerous other cousins.

Out of respect and concern for public health, services to honor Larry's life will be held privately.Interment with his beloved sister Rose at Forest Dale Cemetery in Malden. To leave a message of love and support for the family, please visit RobinsonFuneralHome.com
