Kelly A. Mattei

Kelly A. Mattei, a resident of Lynn and formerly of Everett, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at Salem Hospital on Wednesday, July 12, 2023, at age 45.

Kelly was born in Seabrook, NH on September 23, 1977. Raised in Everett, she graduated from Northeast Metro Tech in Wakefield. With a strong work ethic, Kelly worked as an Office Manager for many years while always trying to do the right thing and respect others. She was fiercely loyal, always protective of her family, and centered her life around those who she loved.

Kelly, known for being the life of the party, surrounded herself with her family and friends for any occasion. She always remained loud and proud of her Italian heritage, and never hesitated to speak up. An old soul, Kelly believed strongly in family values, loyalty to family, and had a strong faith. With simple needs, Kelly was happiest spending time with Gerry in the sun at the beach in Gloucester and admiring the ocean. When at home, Kelly loved being with her Beagle & French Bulldog mix, Tony. She found joy in taking care of herself and loved decorating the house for Halloween.

Strong and faithful, Kelly was a dedicated family woman who served as the guiding force for her family. She will be deeply and sorely missed, but her dedication to family and her fun-loving spirit will carry on in the hearts and minds of her family. May she rest in peace.

Kelly was the beloved husband of Gerardo "Gerry" Fasano of Lynn. Cherished mother of Anthony Mattei and his wife Caroline of Lynn. Proud grandmother of Aaiden and Amaya Mattei of Lynn. Devoted daughter of the late Pasquale and Kathleen (Denish) Mattei. Dear sister of Louis Mattei and his wife Jillian of Spencer and aunt of Roy Mattei. Loving mother-in-law of Assunta Fasano of Everett. She is also survived by her beloved Beagle & French Bulldog mix Tony.

A private service will be held in honor of Kelly.
