Julia was born September 16, 1917 in Belgium.
Julia grew up in Belgium but came to the United States in 1954 after surviving World War II where she settled in Medford but then moved to Melrose and lived for 30 years.She worked as a glassblower for Tracer Laboratories and Instrumentation Labs for 40 years.
Julia was the wife of the late Julien G. Van Holder.Mother of Elsie Ashworth and her husband Robert K. Ashworth Jr. of Stoneham and the late Roger Van Holder.Julia was the grandmother of the late Rodney Ashworth and the great grandmother of Scott Ashworth and Nichol Ashworth both of Billerica.
Funeral Service at the Robinson Funeral Home, 809 Main Street, MELROSE Thursday January 6, 2005 at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Wednesday 5-8 pm. Gifts in her memory may be made to an Animal Fund Charity of your choice.
Interment will be at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford, MA. Arrangements by the Robinson Funeral Home, 809 Main Street, Melrose, MA.
