Jeanne F. Fletcher
Jeanne was born on August 21, 1934 in Melrose, a daughter of the late Henry and Jennie (Perrott) MacNeil. She was a graduate of Melrose High School. She and her husband have lived in Saugus since 1957.
She worked as the bank manager in the bookkeeping department for the former Shawmut Bank in Boston before raising her family.
She is predeceased by her siblings, Eleanor Walsh, Ruth Austin, Elizabeth Bertoulin, and Henry D. Macneil.
Jeanne leaves her husband of 55 years, Thomas A. Fletcher; her children, Mark A. Fletcher of Stoneham and Nancy J. Therrien and her husband, Lawrence, of Tyngsboro; her grandchildren, Justin F. and Katherine J. Therrien; her siblings, Richard Macneil of Wilmongton, George Macneil of Friendship, Texas, Marguerite Russell of Litchfield, New Hampshire, Nancy Hynes of Port Charlotte, Florida and Donald Macneil of Cheyanne, Wyoming; nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service at the Robinson Funeral Home, 809 Main Street, MELROSE, on Friday, February 12 at 11:00 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a visiting hour prior to the service from 10 - 11 AM.Memorials in her name may be made to Mass General Institute for Neurodegenerative Disease (M.I.N.D.) at Mass General Hospital, 114 16th Street, 114-2001, Charlestown, MA 02129-4404.
