Hayden Patrick Costa

Hayden Patrick Costa, just 22 years old, died unexpectedly on Friday, Sept. 9, 2022, in the arms of his loving father.

Hayden was born on April 4, 2000 in Methuen, Massachusetts to Sean and Renee (Pelletier) Costa. He was raised in the familial warmth of their Haverhill home along with his three siblings until the death of their mother in 2013, after which, the family relocated to Saugus.

Hayden attended both Haverhill and Saugus High School, where his witty personality and theatrical talent flourished in a variety of extracurricular activities. He graduated from SHS in 2018 and continued his education as a student at Ithaca College.

He worked construction at D&M Civil Inc. where he specialized in site work for underground utilities. He was known by his co-workers for his hard work, ICT proficiency, unyielding smile, and contagious laughter.

Blessed with the kindest of souls, Hayden conscientiously sought to restore and preserve the happiness of others, sometimes sacrificing his own for the purpose. His capacity for friendship and his thoughtful regard for others were truly traits inherited by his late mother, equally beloved by all in her time

Hayden is survived by his father, Sean; stepmother, Christine; three siblings, Alex, Aaron, Jennifer; and an unequivocal myriad of friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Renee, with whom he can again walk peacefully hand in hand.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to gather during visiting hours in honor and remembrance of Hayden at the Robinson Funeral Home, 809 Main St., Melrose, on Saturday, September 17 from 9-11am, followed by a Celebration of his Life at 11am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Below The Belt Women's Cancer Outreach at www.btbwco.org , a group to which Hayden famously fundraised for.
