Mr. Gary S. Huber, of Boston, formerly of Melrose, died suddenly Friday, October 19, 2007 at his home.He was 53 years old.
Gary was born November 11, 1953 in Stoneham, son of Mary (Jones) McGeoch of Melrose and her husband, Raymond McGeoch.
Gary had been involved with Ecclesia Ministries/Common Cathedral since it's creation in 1994.He was an active parishioner and, according to the founder Rev. Debbie Little Wyman, he was the first person to put words on how important the outdoor church is to people who live on the street.He brought many lonely people into its community life.Gary crafted the eight foot cross along with the altar for Common Cathedral.He also created block printing cards for the ministry that have been distributed worldwide.
Gary was the father of Gary S. Huber, Jr. of Haverhill, Holly H. Mobari of Derry, NH, Rocky L. Huber of Clinton, Michael H. Huber of Merrimac, Stephen Huber of GA, Katherine Huber of Salisbury, NH and the late Gary S. Huber III.Brother of Randy Huber of FL, Linda Umlah of Hudson, NH, and Susan Blantz of PA.Grandfather of Natasha Huber, Benjamin S. Huber both of Clinton and Benjamin R. Huber of Saugus.
