Ethel was born in Medford, MA June 12, 1913, daughter of the late Charles L. Charlton and Margaret A. (Macdonald) Charlton.
Ms. Charlton was a former resident of Hartford, CT and had lived in Melrose since 1978.She had worked for many years as a secretary for the Market Forge Company in Wilmington.She enjoyed Arts & Crafts.
Ethel was the sister of the late Donald, Robert and Norman Charlton.She was the aunt of Nancy Venezia of So. Yarmouth, Leslie Krmpotich and Paul Charlton, both of MN and great aunt of Christopher, Grant, Katie, Sarah and Jason.Sister-in-law of Ruth Charlton of Braintree.Dear friend of Laura & Richard Ploof and their children, Juliann and David Ploof, all of Saugus.
A graveside service will be held at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody, Monday, January 30, 2006 at 11AM.Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
