Elizabeth E. Mcleod
of Carleton Willard Village, Bedford and a former 46 year resident of Melrose and a long time summer resident of Wolfeboro, NH died Saturday evening at her home in Bedford. Betty was born in Norwich, NY,September 22, 1925, the daughter of the late Mildred (Cable) Eaton and Robert S. Eaton.
Betty was raised in Norwich, NY graduated from the Baldwin School in Bryn Mawr, PA and Bradford Junior College in Bradford, MA.Betty attended the Parson's School of Design in NYC, NY. For many years Betty was a Flight Attendant for American Airlines.She was a member of Phi Theta XI in Melrose and the Florence Crittenton League. Betty was the wife of 56 years to Melvin S. McLeod Jr and the mother of Scott E. McLeod and his wife Joan of Lynnfield, Catherine A. Ciccio of Lynnfield and Elizabeth M. LeBoeuf of Ipswich. Betty was the sister of the late ConstanceKidder. Grandmother of Heather McLeod, Courtney Ciccioand Davide Ciccio all of Lynnfield, and Marette LeBoeuf and Melanie LeBoeuf both of Ipswich. Service at the Robinson Funeral Home, 809 Main St., MELROSE WednesdayNovember 10 at 10 AM.Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
Interment will be at Wyoming Cemetery, Melrose, MA. Arrangements by Robinson Funeral Home, 809 Main St. Melrose, MA.
