Mrs. MacNevin moved to Melrose in 1938 and was an avid bridge player and bowler.She was a former long time member of Bellevue Golf Club, Melrose, the 200 Club and the Melrose Community Associates.
Dorothy B. (Rogers)was the beloved wife of the late Charles W. MacNevin.Loving mother of Connie DiRaffaele and her husband Richard of Melrose, Sandie J.Heuston and her husbandJoe of Bartlett, NH and the late Phyllis E. Hunter.Cherished grandmother of Joy Bowie of Malden, Debbie DiRaffaele, Peter DiRaffaele, and Lynda O'Connell all of Melrose,Stacy LaPierre of Dover, NH, Patty Hein of Boxford,Robin Harris of Topsfield and Jeanne Cameron of Whitefield, ME. Also survived by 16 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the Robinson Funeral Home, 809 Main St., MELROSE, Wednesday, May 14 at 8 AM.Funeral Mass in St. Mary's Church, (corner of Myrtle and Herbert St) Melrose at 9 AM Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.Visiting hours Tuesday 4-8 PM.
Interment will be in Wyoming Cemetery, Melrose.
