Dorothea A. Coogan
Dorothea was born in Malden on February 27, 1921, one of two daughters of the late John and Anne (Kiernan) Coogan.
Dorothea was raised in Malden where she graduated from Girl's Catholic High School. For many years, she worked as an accountant in consumer products for General Electric.
She was the devoted sister of the late Jeanne Rush and her late husband John. Loving aunt of Sean C. Rush and his wife Carol McMullen of Weston. Dear great aunt of Alison Rush, and Christopher Rush.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather in honor of Dorothea's life for visiting hours at the Robinson Funeral Home, 809 Main St., Melrose on Saturday, July 8 from 9-10am, followed by her Funeral Service at 10am. Interment in Forest Dale Cemetery, Malden.
