Catherine L. (Palmer) Fiore

Catherine L. (Palmer) Fiore, of Melrose, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Friday, March 22, 2024 at her home. She was 56. Born on July 21, 1967 in Melrose, Catherine was one of 7 children of Constance (Farnham) Millard and her late father Raymond Millard. Catherine grew up in Stoneham, graduating from Stoneham High School. In her youth she enjoyed creating memories of carefree days filled with spending time with her friends, music, and the joy of dancing.

Catherine found her calling as a paraprofessional at the Hoover School in Melrose, where she dedicated 23 years of her life to nurturing and supporting the growth of countless young minds. Her impact on the lives of the children she worked with and her unwavering commitment to her role left an indelible mark on the school community.

Beyond her professional life, Catherine found solace and joy in the serenity of Orono and Waterville, Maine, places that held a special spot in her heart and drew her close to family ties. She cherished the moments spent with her loved ones and treasured her time with her son, Paul Fiore. Catherine was the epitome of a loving mother, finding fulfillment in caring for her son and reveling in the joys of motherhood. She also enjoyed capturing special memories of her family on camera and her beloved pets.

Her presence lit up the lives of those around her, her laughter a melody that resonated in the hearts of family and friends. Catherine's legacy lives on in the memories of the moments shared, the love she gave, and the lives she touched.

Catherine was the beloved daughter of Constance (Farnham) Millard and the late Raymond Millard. Devoted mother of Paul J. Fiore and his girlfriend Nicole Marques of Saugus. Loving sister of Corinne Palmer and her husband James Rosa of Melrose, Ann Johnson of Melrose, Aunt to Scott Palmer, and loved by the rest of her siblings Norman Palmer, Cynthia Gordon, John Gordon and Nancy Gordon who preceded her death, along with countless nieces, nephews and cousins.

Family and friends are invited to honor Catherine's life during visiting hours at the Robinson Funeral Home, 809 Main St., Melrose, on Wednesday, March 27th from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m.
