Anona L. Hartman

Anona L. (Greene) Hartman, a resident of Saco, Maine and formerly of Melrose, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 24, 2025 at The Landing at Saco Bay. She was 81.

Anona was born in Lewiston, Maine on July 25, 1943, one of four children of the late Earle W. Greene and Hildah E. (Ellis) Greene.

Anona was the beloved wife of Rev. Charles G. Hartman with whom she shared 41 years of marriage.

Relatives and friends are warmly invited to gather in honor of Anona’s life for her Funeral Service at the First United Methodist Church, 645 Main St., Melrose on Monday, July 7 at 10am. Interment will follow at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody.
