Over 60 years of family service.
In 1941, my father, Norman Robinson, and my mother, Helena, opened the Robinson Funeral Home. At that time, there were already many funeral homes in Melrose, and opening another funeral home took courage for these long-time Melrose residents. Their hard work paid off and we are still serving families of Melrose today.
In 1974, I stopped by the funeral home to help my father with a small project for “just a few minutes,” as he said. In those few minutes, I found my life’s work to ensure professional care and personal service are offered to those in need.
As a family-owned funeral home, we have always maintained that taking special care of each of our families is our top priority. Here at Robinson, caring is the essence of our funeral home. Our commitment to treating each family with care and understanding is absolute.
Little has changed in the attitude of our funeral home over the years, but much has changed physically. Our expansion in 1989 doubled the size of the funeral home. It is now a modern, beautifully decorated facility, which, with the addition of a parking lot, serves the families of Melrose and surrounding communities extremely well.
To be living and working in the city I love and to be helping the people of Melrose is a privilege I cherish. My wife, Nancy, and I continue to be grateful for that which Melrose has so graciously given to us. We will always work hard to earn the trust that the people of Melrose put in the Robinson Funeral Home.
